Κοπιάστε (Round 2)

Fellow Cypriots, let’s get together again for some great food and entertainment before the holidays’ rush!

For those who do not know Greek, “kopiaste” is an expression we use often in Cyprus and is a polite way of inviting somebody. It literally means “make an effort to” but it is also synonymous to “welcome”. … Kali orexi means “have a good appetite”, or as the French say, Bon Appétit.

On behalf of the United Cypriots of Southern California, you are all cordially invited to our special gathering to be held 6 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the George’s Greek Cafe at Pine Avenue in Long Beach.

The cover charge is $40 per guest and includes a traditional Greek salad, oven roasted potatoes, fresh sauteed vegetables, tzatziki, pita bread, 2 lamb chops, chicken kebab, grilled salmon, baklava and a soft drink. Other food and bar items can be purchased separately.

Please email to johnvassil@yahoo.com to rsvp your attendance.
