Andreas and brother George from Eptakomi – Cyprus, are the owners of Harry’s Cafe restaurant in Anaheim. Their story is truly amazing and idealize the American Dream! After departing the island as refugees, following the 1974 war, and having lost everything, they came to S. California, worked many hours as cooks until they bought their first restaurant. It’s the brothers’ way of celebrating Thanksgiving day nowadays, to open their restaurant – each year – and invite everyone for a free meal. This is not an easy endeavor to plan and arrange for workers to cook and serve for up to a thousand people, mostly strangers each year. This year, the United Cypriots of Southern California proudly salutes our two officers and compatriots Andreas & George Psara for being so giving and generous, especially on Thanksgiving Day.
Warm and Cheerful Congratulations to Andreas & George Psara!!
